28.000 light spots at CeBIT
The concept, designed in 2002, is a space of openness, transparency and lightness amidst the hustle and bustle of the trade show. The entire brand space is designed as a plateau: Floodlit from below, the o2 stand “floats” 50 cm above the floor on a platform. A special feature of the interior is the quiet boundary zone consisting of individual lounges, which invite visitors to linger and enjoy a personal consultation.
Blue Cloud
As a firmament over the o2 landscape, an architectural sculpture, the o2 media cloud is not only a cover and source of light, but also a sensational innovation in exhibition design. 28,000 light spots were mounted in a space of 1000 qm and together formed something like a LED screen. So not only does the media cloud form the world’s largest color screen, it is also an architectural sculpture with a media and interactive function.
Of different lengths, each of the RGB LEDs is programmed by computer to produce pictures moving across the screen, like a blue cloud vaulting over the heads of booth visitors.

Das Bad der Zukunft richtet sich nach individuellen Bedürfnissen und ist bereits auf der Messe mittels Augmented Reality erlebbar. SCHMIDHUBER hat dafür eine App entwickelt, die das unsichtbare Innere der Produkte veranschaulicht und mit der die Besucher:innen technische Lösungen sowie Design- und Farboptionen realitätsnah durchspielen können.
