walk-in design object
Design Miami/ is the leading international exhibition for design objects and represents the increasing convergence between design and art. This atmosphere provides the ideal setting to present the e-tron Spyder as a dynamic way to leave the fuel-dependent past behind, embedded in the scenography of an archetypical and yet modified charging station. The spectacular and futuristic metal coating of all external construction elements, their reflection of the surroundings, transform it into an unreal, soon to be outdated type of construction and present it as a walk-in design object. The fuel pump – locked into a glass cabinet – morphs into a museum piece, while the interior space contains warm and contemporary natural materials.
