“Pure Freude an Wasser” – the GROHE Brand Experience at the ISH 2015

The GROHE group presence at the ISH once again positions the firm as market leaders in water technology. SCHMIDHUBER have created an impressive installation at the Frankfurt trade fair to best present the wide range of products on offer as well as new developments on display for the very first time.

As soon as visitors enter the brightly lit forum building, even before they dive in to the GROHE brand space, they pass through the “GROHE sound shower,” SCHMIDHUBER’s introduction to this year’s stand concept. “Pure Freude an Wasser” (“The Joy of Water“) is the motto for an innovative dialog with the latest in water technology. Visitors are welcomed in a large, media-intensive foyer, offering a number of views of the range of products on offer. Five rooms open up in a star pattern, each one displaying a different GROHE channel – from the brand world of JoYou to Baths & Showers, Spas and Professional all the way to the Kitchen Experience World.

The foyer also acts as a stage for the world premiere of GROHE bathroom ceramics with an inventive display design: the new products are surrounded by a solid curtain of rain that periodically opens, revealing views of the new, elegant bathroom ceramics within. Swinging, kinetically activated GROHE faucets fly overhead, becoming living actors in the presentation scene. This installation demonstrates not only the continual development of the GROHE portfolio, but also uses innovative multimedia technology to highlight the modern, high-quality aspects of the brand.

To allow free movement through the stand without interruption or restriction, open walls with thematically connected content beckon visitors from room to room. This spectral design is uniformly continued across the floor and the furniture. The spatial trapezoids this creates draw the viewer into the center of each presentation, from where a further GROHE product world becomes visible and tangible. Visitors move intuitively through the presentation, and leave with a vivid impression of the products on display and of GROHE’s core competence.

From March 12 to 16, 2013, ISH Frankfurt provides the world’s biggest showcase for innovative bathroom design, energy-efficient heating and air-conditioning technology, and renewable energies. The Grohe stand is in the Forum, Stand B01.
