SONY at the CES Las Vegas

Following on from their hugely successful appearance at the IFA 2014 in Berlin, Japanese multimedia giant SONY are once again presenting themselves in Las Vegas as drivers of innovation for the connected generation.

The International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) is one of the biggest trade fairs in the world for consumer electronics, and SCHMIDHUBER’s design for the SONY stand is a seamless evolution of last year’s triumph. Warm surfaces of wood and textile subdivide the stark white space, and trails on the floors and walls carry the changing color palette of SONY’s interface design into the room.

The central auditorium is surrounded by a horizon made of a 360° projection that turns the entire space inside into a world of wonder. The constantly changing projections create a dynamic atmosphere and transport the visitors into a different space and time, full of imagination and inspiration.

The CES takes place in Las Vegas every year in January, in the Las Vegas Convention Center. In 2015, the fair runs from January 6 to 9.
