OPV Exhibition at the EXEMPLA 2016

SCHMIDHUBER teamed up with Belectric and Carl Stahl to present a cutting-edge exhibition of OPV technology at the EXEMPLA in Munich’s IHM trade fair.

The Tensegrity Tower is a showcase for the flexibility of the organic photovoltaic technology that was first used in the German Pavilion at the Expo Milano 2015 . It shows how easily the technology can be integrated into architectural designs, and demonstrates its blend of aesthetics and functionality.
Bavarian Minister of Economic Affairs, Media, Energy and Technology Ilse Aigner and Bavarian Prime Minister Horst Seehofer were impressed by the lightweight construction and flexible use portfolio of the OPV technology when they visited the trade fair on Wednesday.

EXEMPLA has been the largest special area of the international handcraft trade fair Internationaler Handwerksmesse in Munich for more than 40 years. Its mission is to focus on current strategic developments in the trade fair industry and provide thematic support for further growth. In 2016, the focus is on "Kleine Bauten" or small structures, in Hall B1.

The Tensegrity tower can be visited at the IHM in Munich until March 1.
